What TEFL and CELTA doesn't teach you, part 2.

Kids are the ground floor, engine-room level of teaching.

It's where a teacher can observe and understand students learning needs and habits and how these are formed. These needs and habits will develop into their teenage and adult lives.

Many teens and adults have become accustomed to hiding their learning needs and habits.

Therefore, to conclude, a desirable teacher to recruit is one who has experience of both younger and older learners.

I'll make a new post about lesson planning for kids in the not too distant future.
